Big News From Paradise Yacht Management
Dear Brokers,
As the premier crewed term charter management company in the Virgin Islands, with over 30 managed yachts, Paradise Yacht Management is teaming up with Amphitrite Digital, operator of in-destination tours, activities and events, including Seas the Day Charters USVI and Magens Hideaway on St. Thomas, USVI, Tall Ship Windy in Chicago and Paradise Adventures Catamarans and Watersports in Panama City Beach, Florida.
While Paradise Yacht Management focuses on week long all-inclusive term charters, Amphitrite Digital’s operating units mainly focus on day charters and watersports activities. The benefits of the merger includes consolidation of infrastructure and maintenance, a larger crew pool, extension of a yacht’s lifecycle from term charter to day charter and leveraging the great culture of both Paradise Yacht Management and Seas the Day Charters in the USVI.
Future plans include to go public on the NASDAQ market later in 2023 under the holding company Amphitrite Digital (AMDI) which will create the ability to offer great incentives to our crew and staff, increasing retention and financial successes for everyone involved. For example, Paradise Yacht Management will now be able to offer an additional incentive to crew and staff, on top of their regular income, in the form of a stock grants calculated at 25% of their base pay.
What Does This Mean?
All brands are being independently retained and will continue to operate as stand-alone units
The corporate structure of Paradise Yacht Management will remain, and no term charter contracts are affected
All staff, management and founders of the respective entities will remain
Paradise Yacht Management will be able to attract and retain the Best of the Best crew to ensure the guest experience remains top priority
Greater financial oversight as a publicly listed company
Greater crew pool for long- and short-term charter needs
Expanded maintenance support services in the Virgin Islands to keep our yachts charter ready
